Betta Care Fish
Betta care fish are tropical fish and require warm water in which to live and remain healthy. Betta care fish are mostly found rice paddies and rivers of Southeast Asia .
As a pet betta care fish are one of the easiest to care for and have been known to live 8-10 years.
Bettas require frequent water changes and warmth in order to remain healthy and happy.
The ideal water temperature is between 76-78 degrees Fahrenheit.
I recommend keeping your betta fish in an aquarium 10 gallons or larger.
You should change about 40%-50% of the water in the tank each week, ensuring you give your betta fish enough time to adjust to the changes before adding more water.
Bettas can be feed 2-3 times per day. You can feed a variety of different foods including floating flake food, freeze dried blood worms, live black worms, or frozen brine shrimp. for beta food.
Betas are very aggressive fish and can be kept in a tank with only a few other select species.
These species include platies, swordtails, cory cats, neon tetras, cardinal tetras,white cloud mountain minnow, zebra danios, cherry barbs, and rasboras.
